Cake Decorating |
White Stokes Agar Piping Jel creates decorating effects that are truly original.
White Stokes Agar Piping Jel applies easily to buttercreme, White Stokes Creme-Fond-A-Roll,
cookies and ice cream cakes. Each color has a rich glossy transparent look that is
unmatched by other products. White Stokes Agar Piping Jel colors can be blended together seamlessly
to create 3-dimensional effects unobtainable with other decorating icings. White Stokes Agar Piping Jel
color can also be mixed with white Piping Jel to create a rainbow of colors ranging from beautiful
soft pastels to rich deep colors.

Other Uses: |
GLAZING or MASKING - seals in moisture and gives an extended shelf life to all your products.
Fruit Cakes - Combine equal parts of plain Agar Piping Jel and water. Mix well and apply immediatly as cake leaves oven.
Sweetrolls & Coffee Cakes - Combine equal parts of Plain, Yellow, or Orange Agar Piping Jel and water.
mix well and apply immediately as goods leave oven.
Yeast Goods - Combine equal parts of plain or Yellow Agar Piping Jel and water.
mix well and apply immediately as goods leave oven.
Fruit Pies & Tarts - Spread coating of plain, Yellow or Red Agar Pipping Jel
(depending on fruit) over bottom of the baked shell. Allow to dry. Place fruit in shell.
Combine with two parts Jel and one part water diluting the Jel. Place mixture on top of
fruit. Jel will run around fruit and seal in the moisture.

Stabilizing
- Piping Jel will suspend several times its weight in moisture. This makes it the
perfect tool to stabilize icings and other items. |
Icings - Use 2-5% Plain Jel incorporated with other ingredients.
Buttercream Flowers - 1 lb. Powder Sugar, 1/2 lb. shortening, 4 ozs. Plain Agar
Piping Jel, and 1 pint of water. Mix sugar and shortening together as you would mix pie
dough. When sugar has absorbed the shortening, sprinkle enough water to make a smooth
paste. Then add additional water and Jel to achieve desired consistency. Prepare flowers.
Whipping Cream - Cream must be at least 32-36% butterfat. Whip cream until finished, add 6-8 ozs.
Plain Jel slowly to every quart of Whipping Cream. Adding White Stokes Piping Jel to
whipping cream helps keep decorations from drying out.
Marzipan Paste - Use 4 ozs. of Plain Jel to every pint of moisture used in mix.
