ROLLED FONDANT

White Stokes Creme-Fond-A-Roll is a ready-to-use Folled Fondant Cake Icing which can be used to cover all your special occasion cakes to create an elegant, professional effect. Taken straight from the pail, White Stokes Creme-Fond-A-Roll is lightly kneaded and rolled out to the required thickness using a rolling pin or heavy sheeting equipment before being draped over and smoothed out to enrobe the cake. White Stokes Creme-Fond-A-Roll provides a superior finish to all your cakes and is the preferred choice of today's bride for creating her special elegant wedding cake.



Special Characteristics

  • Used as an icing for cakes. It sets quickly, but remains soft under the outer skin.

  • Has a mellow flavor and is neither sticky nor greasy.

  • Can be flavored and/or colored. It is an ideal medium for airbrushing or stenciling.

  • Easily accepts impressions from modeling tools and crimpers.

  • Is great for cookies, tortes and wrapping for rolled sponges.

  • Can be used for flower making where gum paste is not required.

  • Easily accepts White Stokes Agar Piping Jel and can be beautifully decorated for a custom look.

Handling

  • Precoat the cake surface with a thin layer of White Stokes Agar Piping Jel or buttercream.

  • Knead the required amount of Creme-Fond-A-Roll until product is soft and pliable with an extendable nature.

  • Roll out icing to the desired thickness, using cornstarch for dusting.

  • List and drape icing over cake.

  • Adhere to cake surface, trim excess icing and decorate as desired.
